As FrontPage executable files such as hit
counters, forms, and themes will not work until your domain
name transfers over to the server, but if your eager to get
your site online follow these steps below.
Publishing a website built with FrontPage before your
domain name has been transferred.
1. After your site has been built and your
ready to publish, click on "File" then click on "Publish Web".
2. Publishing with FrontPage before the domain transfers
requires publishing via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) as opposed
to HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocal). Use the IP address
given to you via your confirmation. The IP address will simply
be typed in the field in this format ftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
were "x" is IP address numbers. Click on "publish" after entering
in the IP address.

3. Enter your username and password you signed up with.

4. FrontPage will compare the files on your computer to
the files on the server, the files on the server are the preinstalled
files and scripts that come with the account including frontpage
extensions themselves. Make sure you say "No" to each file.
Since there are over 400 files clicking can take some time,
so I recommend just holding down the "N" key.
5. If you have any FrontPage components such as themes, forms,
and hit counters you will see a screen like this that says
that FrontPage Server Extensions are not installed, do not
worry your FrontPage extensions are installed it's just that
FrontPage does not recognize them via "FTP". Click on "Continue"

6. When FrontPage is done publishing you will see this screen.
If you click on "view your published website" you will get
an error page if you dont have a static IP address. All our
hosting has Ip address so you should not see this error Click
done and view your published website via the URL included
in your confirmation

7. If you have components installed that are FrontPage executables
the will not work until your domain name transfers. Once it
transfers over and you can view what you have published by
going to your browser and typing in "www.yourdomain.com" you
should open up the website via Root Web and then going to
file "close". All your components and forms should now operate
fine after doing this.
Publishing a website
built with FrontPage after your domain name has been transferred.
If your domain name is fully transferred over to the server
meaning that you can view the default index page via web browser,
your ready to publish a fully operational website built with
FrontPage. Please Note: Make sure you main introductory page
in named "index.htm". If your main page is not, right click
on the proper file and rename it "index.htm" all lowercase.
1. After your site has been built and your ready to publish,
click on "File" then click on "Publish Web".
2. Type in your domain name in this format "http://yourdomain.com"
then click "publish".

3. Type in your login name and password then click "ok".
4. After all the files have been transferred you should
see this screen. Click on "view published website". You should
see your website provided your main page is named "index.htm"
