Viewing Web server log files

The Web server log files provide information about the Web server. You can view the files directly from the Site Administrator control panel, or download them to your local system for viewing.

To view the log reports:

1. In the shortcuts area of the Home page, click Log Files (Reports section).

2. Choose the type of file you want to read. File types include CustomLog and ErrorLog.

3. In the Actions column of the file you want, click . The Download File window opens.

4. Click Download File.

5. To view the reports, do one of the following:

1. Click Open to view the reports directly from WEBppliance.
   The Open With window opens prompting you to select a program with which to view the log report.

• Select WordPad from the Program list.

• Click OK.
  The log report opens in WordPad.

2. Click Save to download the reports to your local system before viewing them. The log report is saved to the specified location.
